Walnut frame with Mahogany panels and Burr banding.
Inscribed; “This cabinet was designed and made by H.W. Keil – living at Broadway -for M.H Walton who lived in the same house”.
Keil trained with Gordon Russell, then went on to become a leading antiques dealer.
