A rare mahogany bureau of elegant form by Paolo Buffa.
Beautifully inlaid.
The top frieze decorated with a sycamore inlaid stylized spiral band.
The fall front finely inlaid with various exotic woods depicting a classical landscape scene. Above a single drawer set with fine bronze stylized handles.
On tapering legs with bronze sabots. The fall front opening to reveal an interior with pigeon holes and drawers with brass handles and glass finials. Diagonal veneer work.
