African mahogany extendable dining table, strung with Holly and Ebony, by Edward Barnsley, England circa 1956.
Made by the craftemen Herbert Upton, George Taylor, Leal Wyatt and Oscar Dawson.
The pedestals with 4 octagonal turned columns joining a quadripartite base joined by an X stretcher, on chamfered down swept legs and bun feet.
Measures: 230 cm wide ( 310 cm wide with inset leaves ) x 122 cm deep x 73 cm high.

Set of 10 chairs in African Mahogany with Holly and Ebony stringing and curved front supports.
Original upholstery.
